My First Run Club Experience

my running outfit

Joining a run club felt intimidating. I wondered if I could keep the pace. Yesterday I laced up my running shoes and ran to the park to get started.

There I met Diego, who thankfully wasn't afraid to make contact. He was really nice and we ran together the whole way. It wasn't my fastest run, but it went by so fast. The route took us through Frognerparken and toward Bygdøy, where we ended up at Huk. Those who wanted to took a dip; I didn't bring my swim trunks, so I stayed dry with Diego.

Run Stats

I was really afraid of joining the club, but since it was a gay run club, it made it a little easier. Since I own a café, I asked the organizers if they want to end up at my café in the future, where I can sponsor some cinnamon buns and coffee.

This was really fun.
